Dr. Shelly Brooks was appointed as our senior pastor in 2007. Dr. Brooks is a Fort Worth native and most recently served as District Superintendent of the Brownwood District of the Central Texas Conference. She was previously senior pastor of First United Methodist Church of Alvarado. Dr. Brooks received her Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. read more

Rev. Daniel Hawkins was recently appointed to be our pastor of administration and missions. Rev. Hawkins is a native of the Waco area, and he was previously appointed to First United Methodist Church of Coolidge in the Waco District. Tom Faile was recently appointed to First UMC Keller as our Pastor of Caring and Connection. Prior to joining the ministry team at Keller, Rev. Faile served as Pastor of Faith UMC in Fort Worth. A native of South Carolina, Tom holds a B.A. in English from Wofford College, a Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School at TCU, and is an ordained Elder in the Central Texas Conference. read more

Robin is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church and certified as Minister of Christian Education. She received a Master’s degree in Religious Education from Perkins School of Theology. Her previous appointment was at Saginaw UMC. Robin is the Central Texas Conference instructor for eChristian Ed, a three-year online certification program in Christian Education through Columbia College in South Carolina.  read more

David joined the staff in 2007. After earning his DMA in Choral Music from the University of Illinois, David was Director of Choral Activities at Eastern New Mexico University where he taught for 21 years. He also served part-time as choir director in Methodist churches in Portales and Clovis. David and his wife, Janette, have four grown children and two grandchildren. Janette is an educational assistant at Samuel Beck Elementary in Trophy Club.

Jordan joined our staff in 2009. Jordan graduated from McMurry University in Abilene, TX with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in Communication. In college Jordan worked as a part-time youth director at St. Paul UMC. Jordan moved to Roswell, New Mexico to be the youth director of the First United Methodist Church. He gained a heart for youth and desire to teach them how to be leaders and disciples of Jesus Christ.

Sean grew up in the thriving community of Hamilton, Texas. He attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, where he performed with the World Famous Cowboy Band. Prior to joining the staff at the church in 2005, Lisa worked as a staff accountant at a local CPA firm. Lisa is responsible for all the business and office functions of the church and assists many of the committees in carrying out their ministries. One of Lisa's passions is photography, as you can see during many church events when Lisa captures the moments with her camera. Lisa and her husband, Ryan, were married in 2004. Their family includes three four-legged children at home (two cats, Rufus and Kallye, and one dog, Pennye).
