Rev. Daniel Hawkins was recently appointed to be our pastor of administration and missions. Rev. Hawkins is a native of the Waco area, and he was previously appointed to First United Methodist Church of Coolidge in the Waco District. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Perkins School of Theology at SMU.

Prior to answering his call to ordained ministry in the United Methodist Church, Rev. Hawkins worked as a licensed real property appraiser in the Waco area. Rev. Hawkins is a 2006 graduate of the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. While at Baylor he studied economics and real estate.

He has a passion for helping people come to know the awe-inspiring love of God. A veteran of many mission trips, Rev. Hawkins has a passion for mission ministry that is vibrant and life changing. In his free time, Rev. Hawkins enjoys spending time with his lovely wife – April, singing and watching his beloved Baylor Bears play sports of all kinds.
